Cloth Diapers...

We recently changed to cloth diapers. It was our plan all along. They are better on the environment, but our real motivation is they are just cheaper and we're on a budget. We were given quite a few disposable diapers as gifts when Chloe was born and are just now breaking into our stash of cloth provided by Sam's fantastic Mama.

Chloe wasn't too impressed with my first attempt...

We could use a little practice....

  2. We need to invent some sort of draw-string diaper.

My friend uses these cloth diapers and swears by them. It's a hefty upfront investment, but they are pretty incredible. I've hung out with her a lot and seen them in action. Super easy to use and to clean, super reliable. Plus you can use them for the next baby too, seems like a good investment. Good luck! You are braver than I!

  4. btw, she recommends the 4.0, one size, it adjusts in size as the baby grows, cheaper than getting a seat in each size.

  6. Audi! We just found your blog by way of facebook. I like the idea of cloth diapers. In Utah there are diaper fairies. You can put your dirty cloth diapers on the front porch and then they magically appear nice and clean the next day, for a certain price. These Utah women are ca-razy with self employment ideas. P.S. I'm adding your link to my blog!
